Same desk, Same pup, still the favorite place to be especially when My Margret is working at the desk. She says I keep her feet warm. Bonus: I blend in so well it’s sometimes hard to see me! ~ Bea Pup (Top pic Bea 3 months old. Bottom pic Bea 4 years old)
My Margret fixed me up a “just for me” nest in the front room. I really want to be with everyone else but My Margret said it’s just for a little while until my tummy isn’t as “angry”. I didn’t know tummies could be angry but that’s okay Herbert the Red and I get to hang out.
Oh hey guess what!?!? We found out I’m pretty famous at the animal hospital, the tech who took us back to a room yesterday squealed and said “Oh this is the dog who ate a bunch of rocks!” Hmmm…Bessie the Dog Who Ate A Lot Of Rocks…that sure sounds more exciting than Bessie Boo ~ Bessie Pup
Note: Bessie has always tended to guzzle large amounts of water. This in turn is adding to her nausea so she can only have small amounts at a time until she’s recovered a bit more from her surgery. As one can imagine this is impossible to do with a communal bowl and three dogs. Bess will of course be spending time with all of us and cuddle and explore all the smells in the pup pen when Greg or I are right there beside her. ~ Margret
My Margret was so happy that I felt good enough last night to get a toy out of the toy box that she wanted to take my picture. My sisters decided they wanted their pictures taken too and ran up to her and posed. She says we are silly pups but she always says it with a smile and ear ruffles. ~ Bessie Pup
Note: Bessie is getting better. Yesterday was a mix of keeping things quiet and calm for Bess and assuring Bea and Scruffy that their world was ok and that Bess would soon be able to roughhouse again. Full recovery is going to take awhile but she’s off to a good start. 💕
I’m home! Take my advice, no matter how much that pea gravel in your yard looks like your kibble don’t eat it because it’s not! Oh and I. Do. Not. like wearing a cone, I keep running into things and my sisters bark at me. I don’t think they recognize me in this thing. So I gave my Margret my saddest look (and it must have been a good one because she’s not a push over.) and she took it off saying we’d give it a try and it was up to me if it stayed off. I’m not sure what she thinks I’m going to do but ok. My Margret just gave me something to help my tummy feel better so I’m going to take a little nap now…Zzzz ~ Bessie Pup
