Music Soothes The…Barky Westie ~ Scruffy’s My Margret

Music soothes the savage beast or in this case the barky Westie. Scruffy who typically loves being in her crate at bedtime has been spending more time in her crate in an effort to limit her activity while recovering from her abdominal surgery 10 days ago. Due to this she spent Wednesday and Thursday nights letting us know in no uncertain terms that enough is enough!
Last night we turned on WGLC 100.1 FM to see if music would help settle her down and it did and she slept through the night! Thank you for the assist! 4 more days and our pup can go back to her normal energy filled activities. But who’s counting.😉

Here’s What We’re Going To Do ~ Bea Pup

Scruffy, I know you are sad because you can’t do what you want to do right now. So here’s what we’re going to do, you distract My Margret while I take off your leash then we’ll run out to the pup pen and bark at everything in sight! ~ Bea Pup

Note from My Margret:

Earlier this week Scruffy aka goat pup managed to eat something that caused a blockage in her stomach. After a successful surgery she is home recuperating. She is to stay quiet for two weeks (I’ll wait while you laugh) then can go back to her normal activities. To say she isn’t happy is an understatement but we’re all helping her make the best of it.
