Sisters, I’ll never figure them out.
This morning when My Margret let Bess Pup out in the pup pen she heard a scared meow. That was me, I’ll admit it I was scared and you would have been scared too if you were me.
You see last night I slipped out unseen in the pup pen when my sisters went out before bedtime.
Now those that know me know I’m called the 4th Golden Retriever, I want to be wherever my sisters are. And I try all kinds of ways to get outside including ringing the gotta go chime.
While at first I was excited to be outside then I have to admit I didn’t like it as much as I thought I would and as I said before got scared so when My Margret let me in I was really glad to see her. She hugged and cuddled me and told me she was sorry I spent the night outside. Then My Greg cuddled me and told me he was sorry too. That was fun I liked their cuddles but my sister pups went just plain goofy! First they each sniffed me to make sure I was ok.
Then they kept ringing the gotta go chime so they could go out in the pen and pup porch to do some sniffing then they would come back in and sniffed me. They just couldn’t believe that I actually went outside.
Finally they just stared at me for awhile.
I can’t figure out why they were so fussed up I’m the one who stayed outside (well in the porch curled up in straw) in the dark …by myself …while it rained …
all .night .long!
~this is Linus (sisters are goofy) Kitty for the rest of the Pups and Kitties.
Oh Linus, I am so happy you made it through the night ok outside. Outside in the dark is lonely and scary, even if you aren’t in any real danger. ear scratches to you.
Hi Mrs. Amy!
Thank you, I was really glad when morning came. ~ paw pats Linus.
OMGoodness, L. You caused quite a commotion with your sneaky little adventure. No wonder your sisters are confused and worried. Look at their gorgeous faces watching over you. You freaked them out!
Love and licks,
Cupcake
Hi Cupcake,
I know but ….
*sigh* You’re right, they’re just showing that they care, but man, a little space would be nice! ~paw pats Linus
How scary, Linus! It would have been one thing if your sisters had been out there with you, but it’s another thing to be all by yourself! Glad you made it back in and everyone gave you the snuggles you needed.
Thank you Mrs. Sam! ~paw pats Linus
Sooooooooooo glad that Linus is all right. The pups smelled Linus because he smelled like them?
I hope that Linus decides to not sneak outside again. Cats remember!
Carolyn
Hi Mrs. Carolyn
I think they smelled me outside and couldn’t believe it was me so they kept checking the smells.
I didn’t want to go outside yesterday but today I wanted to go out with my sisters so badly that I did try again. But My Margret wouldn’t let me. ~ paw pats Linus
