Parties

I love My Margret. You know I do but sometimes I wish she didn’t know me so well.

She’s away helping some of her and My Greg’s big and little people and their pup Patch for a few days.

Meanwhile My Greg is taking care of us. So me and my sisters have been having middle of the night parties with My Greg. They are so much fun. Well we were until he told My Margret about them and that’s all it took.

She told him that when I want to have a middle of the night party that he just needs to say ” It’s still night night Bess.” He kinda thought she was kidding him until he tried last night when I wanted to party and he didn’t.

I don’t know why he was so surprised that when he said that I went to to the foot of the bed, laid down, sighed, and went back to sleep. That’s what ” it’s still night night Bess” means. Doesn’t everyone know that?

I kinda wished he hadn’t said anything to My Margret but this morning I heard him say something about maybe a thunderstorm party later today…

Well you know what they say a party’s a party!

  1. We want to come and party with you, Bessie, et al. Yeah, we ain’t scared a no storms! (most of the time unless they are super loud booming canons over our heads) Xena and Lucy Pee S. Are there good treats at your party?

    • Come on over girls! We’ll find you some ear plugs. Good treats? Oh only the best treats for our friends! ~nose nudges Bessie Pup

  2. Well, that problem was solved more easily than I expected. I can see how it would get confusing when you feel a party coming on and it’s still night-night. Good that MyGreg knows what to do… I guess night-night is something like too-early. Sometimes, Mom tells me it’s too-early for kissing.

    Love and licks,
    Cupcake

    • Hi Cupcake! Too early definitely sounds like night night. Do you think your mom talked to My Margret? ~ nose nudges Bessie Pup
