But Stuffies Aren’t As Yummy As Socks

This morning I ran upstairs and came back down all quiet like. My Margret and Belle were snuggled on the couch and I didn’t want them to see what I had. Oh um I mean I didn’t want to bother them.

All of a sudden I hear “leave it”.

Then I hear “give”.

Um give what? I don’t have one of your favorite socks. Really I don’t.

Next thing I knew My Margret was standing beside me with her hand out and said “give”. I kinda did and she took the sock and gave me my cow stuffie. Soon I found one of our chewy toys too but it wasn’t the same.

I’ve been taking stubborn lessons from Bonnie. When My Margret was out of the room I went upstairs and got the other sock and yep I chewed it up! In fact I chewed faster when I saw My Margret coming into the room.

She just look at me with a ” I can’t believe you did this after I told you not to” look. Then Bonnie and I gave her a ” What?” look.

Sometimes a pup just wants what they want and it’s ok to go after it. Bonnie said!

~ this is Bessie “the sometimes you just want a sock” Pup for the pups and kitties.

  1. We’re sure it’s all Bonnie’s fault. Or it’s your Mom’s fault for leaving her socks laying around like they were toys. You probably thought you got the wrong one the first time. Xox Lucy and Xena

  2. Blerg. That was naughty behavior, B. Sometimes, when I do naughty things like that, Mom calls me the name Stubborn. I kinda like it….

    • I kinda like it too except My Margret doesnt look happy when I am stubborn. And I don’t like that. ~nose nudges Bessie Pup

  3. You were a VERY GOOD PUPPY to give the sock back when your Margaret asked you to. Did you know “stubborn” is a trait for the Siberian Husky? We don’t see it as a bad thing. Really.

    • Thank you girls! I didn’t know that stubborn one of your traits. Now that I know that it doesn’t seem that bad after all! ~nose nudges Bessie Pup
