Early this morning after the big loud bouncy one went outside I decided to come sit with My Margret.

The older more mature quieter ones were there too. Bonnie behaved just as I’ve trained her. But Belle started to give me some sass which I shut that down real fast!

Then Belle and I pretended that we didn’t see each other.

She finally did what she should have done in the beginning which was to leave me be and go curl up next to My Margret.

When she did that I went and curled up on top of the couch behind My Margret. Which I had wanted to do from the beginning.

Why do dogs always make things harder than they need to be?

Usually we like to do our own thing but sometimes we want to cuddle.

(My Margret got all “Oh look how cute” when she saw our paws. She’s like that sometimes. Sigh…..)

Huh… what…Um Linus, it’s bedtime.

My Margret….Why is Linus Kitty up here? It’s bedtime, he doesn’t sleep with us.

Hey Belle….guess what I do now!!!

So I thought a lot about what my friends said about My Margret having enough love for Patch Pup and the rest of us. Thanks everyone for the help! You all rock!

Then I remembered how sad she looked when I wouldn’t go sit with her. So tonight I stood first in line to be brushed. It felt really good.

Then I brought her a bunch of my stuffies.

After that I gave her one of my smiles. I could tell all of that made her very happy.

Which made me feel happy too. And because it felt so good to not be mad or sad any longer I played tug of war with my sister Bonnie. And guess what! I won!

My Margret came home today. As soon as she finally sat down my sister Bonnie Pup and Brother Kitty Linus jumped up in her lap. I don’t think Bonnie really wanted to share My Margret but she did.

As soon as they jumped down Belle jumped up for her turn to be loved on. She sat with My Margret for a long time.

When My Margret was away she spent time with her big and little people’s pup Patch.

And I’m not sure how I feel about that.

To be honest I really missed her but I’m kinda of jealous that she spent time with another pup even though we are related to him. I guess the trouble is I’m not sure if she still loves me.

Maybe tomorrow I’ll ask her and show her I’m glad she’s home.

I love My Margret. You know I do but sometimes I wish she didn’t know me so well.

She’s away helping some of her and My Greg’s big and little people and their pup Patch for a few days.

Meanwhile My Greg is taking care of us. So me and my sisters have been having middle of the night parties with My Greg. They are so much fun. Well we were until he told My Margret about them and that’s all it took.

She told him that when I want to have a middle of the night party that he just needs to say ” It’s still night night Bess.” He kinda thought she was kidding him until he tried last night when I wanted to party and he didn’t.

I don’t know why he was so surprised that when he said that I went to to the foot of the bed, laid down, sighed, and went back to sleep. That’s what ” it’s still night night Bess” means. Doesn’t everyone know that?

I kinda wished he hadn’t said anything to My Margret but this morning I heard him say something about maybe a thunderstorm party later today…

Well you know what they say a party’s a party!

So we’ve been um kinda getting into trouble lately. Just little stuff like chewing up notebooks, socks, napkins you know stuff like that.

My Margret says we are bored. We’re not sure what bored is but we think it means new stuff.

I’m so lucky I got to have an early morning visit with Katie. She’s one of My Margret and My Greg’s little people.

We had a good visit. I can’t wait until she comes back.

When the pups come in after supper we have them sit and they get a milk bone treat. Tonight for the fun of it I hid the three bones in plain sight and told the pups to find it. The video isn’t awesome but you get a glimpse of their personalities. Belle found the first one. Bouncy Bess the second and Bonnie the last one.

The Pups My Margret

So last night My Margret and My Greg were watching a show on the box. I was sitting with them when I realized My Margret’s eyes were leaking. So I got a little closer to her and her eyes leaked even more and more. I’m not used to seeing her eyes leak so I climbed in to her lap and cuddled with her. For some reason that made her eyes leak EVEN more. I don’t quite understand what happened but after awhile her eyes dried up and she smiled at me.

That made me feel really good that I could make her eyes stop leaking and start smiling again. So good in fact it made me smile!
