This morning the Bouncy One wanted to go outside. I went with her but stayed on the porch. Bonnie kept ringing the gotta go chime but My Margret didn’t understand what we were trying to tell her.
Finally she called Bess in and a few seconds later there was a flash of lightning and a loud rumble of thunder.
Now she understands.
~ This is Belle “keeping an eye out for our little sister” Pup for the rest of the pups and kitties.
It is remarkable that they know when something like a rain storm or change in the weather — (other things too) — are about to happen. It was good that you took the cue and had Bess come in. Those are the things that make you appreciate and love your pups even more.

Hi Carolyn, I’m sure the pups were frustrated that it took me so long to catch on to what they were telling me. Immediately after Bess came in Bonnie went and hid under the desk, coming out only to follow me into the bathroom while I was putting on my makeup. Apparently once she felt her sister was safe she allowed herself to be scared. ~Margret
Good girls, Bonnie and Belle! Someday your little sis will look out for you, too! 🙂
Hi Mrs. Amy! Thank you! I don’t know if she will but I believe you so maybe she will. ~nose nudges Belle
Way to go, girls. Good looking out for each other.
Love and licks,
Cupcake
Hi Cupcake! Thanks, My Margret keeps saying that’s what family does, so we do, well most of the time… 🙂 ~nose nudges Belle
