Practically Perfect

This morning I went to visit my vet’s office for my annual check up. I weigh 98.7 lbs and overall I am perfect. Well except for this thing on my front paw. My Margret noticed it on New Years Eve. Dr. Lundy said it’s most likely a histiocytoma which is a benign growth. He told them about some other possibilities and options. Based on his recommendation My Margret and My Greg are comfortable keeping an eye on it. It could take up to six months to go away. My Margret and My Greg picked up a tube of stuff that will make it taste real bad so I won’t keep licking it.

If it starts to grow or if they have questions we’ll go back and have them look at it again and do a biopsy.

I like my vet and all the people who work there but I really wanted to just go home.

It took a long time for My Margret to get the hint that I wanted her to open the door. When she finally did My Greg took me outside to wait for My Margret. I kept going up to the cars in the parking lot to try and get in them so we could go home. My Greg wouldn’t open the doors for me though. Finally My Margret came out and I saw her walking to our car. I told My Greg to hurry up and as soon as My Margret opened the door in I went. They can be so slow some times!!!!

  1. We heard that Angel Lexi had to have a lump removed from her paw because of the hystio thingie. Everything was ok, but her leg looked funny all shaved. We hope you don’t have to have your leg shaved. XOX Xena and Lucy

    • Hi Xena and Lucy, I hope so too. Although My Margret shaved my paw a little so she could see my lump better. And I did get cheese so maybe having a shaved paw isn’t such a bad thing after all ~ nose nudges Bessie.

  2. Parents do have a way of slowing down at the vet. My plan is usually to leave as soon as we get there, but NO! That is very different from Mom’s plan. I’m glad you made it out to the car safely. I hope your cytoma goes away quickly and without any fuss.

    Love and licks,

    • Hi Cupcake, Thank you. I don’t think I will ever understand our people. They say they love us then do the opposite of what we want. It just doesn’t make sense. ~ nose nudges Bessie
