I’m Home!

I’m home! I’m glad to be home but I’m not too sure about the accommodations. I’m used to my basement home so this is going to take some getting used to.

My brother kitty Linus is keeping me company so I’m not lonesome.

I’m feeling pretty good. They sent me home with some pain meds to help me feel better. I’m getting around great and I’ve even been climbing up the side of my new apartment. So it’s pretty clear that being a three legged kitty isn’t going to slow me down very much.

My Margret told me how everyone has been praying and writing words of encouragement. I appreciate it more than you know. I may be small at 7lbs but I’m mighty at least that’s what everyone says.

~ this is Lucy “the I’m glad to be home but now I’m going to take a nap” Kitty for the rest of the pups and kitties.

  1. Lucy is already showing signs of the insignificance of the loss of that leg for her. How wonderful! You will all get used to it soon. Looks like her new, temporary digs are spacious and comfortable, even if she doesn’t appreciate being confined. I’m glad Linus is keeping her company.

    • Amy,
I am simply amazed at how well she is doing. Although with all the prayers on her behalf I shouldn’t have been surprised.
During the course of the day she settled in better than we could have imagined. Linus has been sticking close, which she seems to like. Day 1 done.

    • Hi Cupcake! Thanks! I’m starting to like them too. I’ve been cat napping all day. I’ve surprised everyone with how perky I am. I like to keep them guessing. ~rumbly purrs, Lucy

  2. Best wishes, kitty! I was among those praying and hoping for the best outcome for you, and it looks like you are getting there! Meows and “scritches” to you!

    • Thank you! We appreciate your prayers more than we can say. ~ rumbly purrs, Lucy

  3. Oh Lucy I went back and read all about your trauma ~ that surely was rough housing! Yet glad you are on the up side of this. Looks like you have a nice window to look out during your recovery at home. Animals seem to take things in stride.
Thanks for the POTP Lee is worried about me and she hates we have to wait two whole weeks to get in to the specialist. Please keep me in your prayers as I will you.
