The Good News Pup

This morning I went to see Dr. Lundy. My Margret was a little miffed at me because I wouldn’t get in the van when she told me to. My Greg was coming with us and I wanted to make him feel good so I waited until he told me to get in the van. My Margret looked at me and said ” Really Belle?!” I pretended to not hear her.

The first thing they do when we get there is weigh me and I’m a dainty 85 1/2 lbs. My Greg said I was fat. I didn’t like that so I went to go stand next to My Margret.

When it was time to go back to an exam room instead of turning right into the room I turned left and tried to keep going right out to the car. That didn’t work…sigh.

We found out that the lump on my leg is a fatty tumor and we just need to watch it. Which was good news then My Margret asked Dr. Lundy to look at my ears. He said my allergies are acting up but I don’t have an ear infection so that was good. He gave me an allergy shot to help calm things down. Maybe now my sisters will stop licking my ears, Although I know they are just trying to help.

Finally My Greg took me outside where I got to explore all the yummy smells while we waited for My Margret.

After that we climbed in the van and I was My Greg’s co- pilot all the way back home.

Massages Are Relaxing

Sue from About a Dog Pawsitive Canine Massage came back to see me tonight for another massage session. My Greg wanted to watch and I kept going to see him to make sure he was watching…he was.

It felt really good and I got really relaxzzzzzz

I got to meet Sue too. My Margret told her that I didn’t always like to be around people but I could tell right off that Sue understood kitties so I gave her a gentle bump with my head and purred A LOT to let her know I liked her. She showed My Margret how to give me a massage to help me feel better. I think she just became my new best friend.

They’re Home!

My Margret and My Greg were gone this past weekend. We missed them but we got to see Mrs Wendy and Dylan and we liked that!

But now that they are home we’ve been keeping a close eye on them.

Hey where are they?!!

Linus, don’t worry they are right here.

And we’re going to make sure they stay that way!

Boy, Do I Feel Relaxed.

Sue from “About A Dog Pawsitive Canine Massage” came to our house tonight. Our trainer Lora told My Margret about Sue and how she helps pups feel better.

She was very nice but I didn’t know what to think when she sat on the floor beside me.

She talked to me in a quiet voice while she started to massaged my muscles. Linus got a little jealous and asked when his turn was going to be. Hmm now that I think about it he never did get a turn but maybe next time.

Sue explained to My Margret what she was doing as she was doing it. You might not know it but My Margret likes how’s and why’s so she was really happy. She wants to learn how to do this so she can help me move around and feel better. Turns out Lucy Kitty can get massages to help her move around better too.

I didn’t care about the how’s and why’s I just knew that it felt good. Although every once in a while Sue would massage a spot that I didn’t want massaged and I would offer to let her rub my tummy instead. Most of the time though I really liked it.

After Sue left I felt so relaxed I didn’t want to move. I sure hope she comes back soon.

Belle, My Sister Pup

I like having my room pretty much by myself. My Margret put up the gate in such a way that I can come out any time I want.

Lately my sister pup Belle has been visiting with me every morning.

I like that and I think she does too!

Rewarding the Little People

My Margret and My Greg’s big and little people came to visit last weekend.

I usually like to keep to myself but I really liked it when Katie and Ethan talked to me. To reward them I let them pet me as much as they wanted to.

Shhh, don’t tell them but I hope they come back real soon.

Nope Not Happening

This weekend we had to take baths.

We got new collars.

And My Margret expected us to go out to our pup porch during a storm. Something about she had to go to work.

Sigh…

So the baths weren’t horrible except it took forever for our My Margret to say we were dry enough to come downstairs. We even licked each other to hurry the process up a bit.

Our new collars are really pretty but with our fluffy fur they are hard to see. Mine is green with flowers, Belle’s is blue plaid and Bonnie’s is bandana red.

This morning when My Margret wanted me to go out to the pup porch I invited her to rub my tummy and she did.

But she still wanted me to go out so that didn’t work so I said no! Let’s see how she moves 100 + lb me when I don’t want to move.

All of a sudden she started doing this really fun dance with a lot of hand clapping all with a silly voice. I danced with her until I noticed that instead of dancing in the dining room she was dancing on the pup porch. Good thing I noticed before I danced my way out with her. She scared Belle with her dancing and that’s when I realized where we were.

Next thing I knew she was breaking out the good treats and I could not resist that. She felt bad and said if she hadn’t had to leave for work we wouldn’t have had to go out in our porch when it was storming. I believe her because of how she cuddles with me when I’m scared. It really wasn’t too bad on our porch but shhhh don’t tell My Margret I said so!

Everything Is Better With A Kong

I don’t know what the big deal is. My Margret said she needed to trim my nails. Well I don’t agree, they are just fine the way they are. Thank you very much!

As usual she didn’t listen to me. She did give me a choice of where to lay. So I tried out the love seat, the couch and several places on the floor. I also invited her to rub my tummy several times.

After several attempts to hold my paw sweet talk to me, line up the clipper with my toenail all at the same time while muttering something about bifocals whatever they are she stopped got up and went to the kitchen. I followed to see what she was up to. The next thing I knew there was my Kong filled with yummy peanut butter.

For some reason clipping my nails went much better after that. Although I did hear her laugh and say something about me slurping. Humph I do not know what she’s talking about, I have never slurped in my life!

Taking Care Of Each Other

It’s been quite a week. We all had our taker carer hats on. Our My Greg was home sick and our My Margret had some oral surgery.

We pups and kitties took turns sitting with them so we could help them feel better. It worked My Greg and My Margret are feeling a lot better!

Early this morning I woke My Margret up to let her know it was storming. We went downstairs to watch tv for awhile. It wasn’t too long before she told Belle and me that it was time to go back to bed.

A couple of hours later I let her know it was storming again. We went back downstairs and she held me until I wasn’t scared anymore.

I like how we all take care of each other
