Note from My Margret, Their smushy noses, paws that are tucked in close to their noses and fake snores with eyes wide open are so precious and make us smile.

We Love Our Kongs

We love our Kongs. My Margret loves our Kongs too. When we get bored we um tend to find new ways to keep ourselves entertained. Our My Margret doesn’t always appreciate our choices. The Kongs give us a yummy way to use up some of our excess energy. We were really excited this morning when we saw her doing this.

Then she put them in the freezer.

She even left some peanut butter on the outside of the Kong just the way we like it.

The following video shows our favorite way to enjoy our Kong.

My Bestest Friend

It’s been cold and icy and snowy and warm and muddy and icy and snowy…..well you get the idea.

I pretty much like things to stay the same so when they don’t I’m kind of fussed up.What makes me feel better though is my bestest friend in the whole world. My squeaky tennis ball!

Sometimes I’m worried that my sisters might take it from me so I hide it under my paw. (My Margret note: we have 23 million tennis balls so you know…🤣)

My Margret knows how important my tennis ball is so she makes sure I have it. She’s good like that.

She and My Greg just got back from visiting some of their big and little people. ( Shout out to Mrs. Wendy for taking such good care of us!)

They had lunch at a place called

Their lunch was served in dog food bowls. Ours is all the time so I don’t see what the big deal is but they liked it.

Mr. Perfect, That’s Me!

My Margret took me to see Dr. Boles for my yearly check up.

When we got there Mr. Office Kitty made sure to let me know this was his place and he was the boss. I didn’t like that very much but My Margret told me that it was ok I was hers and not to worry about it. I felt pretty good about that until I saw her petting him. Humph!!!

Seeing Dr. Boles made everything better. She weighed me and said that at 11.3 lbs I was perfect. She actually said “Mr. Linus you are perfect!” She also gave me some ear and under the chin skritches, I really liked that.

When we came back home My Margret told My Greg all about my visit. She left some important stuff out so I told him about that. He gave me a lot of cuddles that made me feel all the way better about everything. Then because I was so tired I took a nap.and another one.

And another one

And another and another and….well you get the idea.

Pups and Kitties It’s Cold Outside

So we have windchills of -50 degrees outside today and part of tomorrow. My Margret got to stay home with us today and part of tomorrow because lots of places are closed including the university where she works.

I usually stay in my room but I decided to go out to my favorite warm register in the living room. Bessie Pup started barking at me so My Margret body blocked and scooped me up for a cuddle. I didn’t get scared but started to purr so we stayed in the living room. Bessie stopped barking almost right away and laid down to think about it. I think she was confused.

A lot of the day has been spent napping. My Margret took photos of all of us being warm, cozy and in some cases, silly.

Linus is resting on his paw.

We hope that you all are staying warm if it’s cold where you live.

Yummy Yummy Kongs

We all love peanut butter stuffed Kongs. Um…but I may love them a little bit more than my sisters. My Margret fixed three of them and laid them on the floor so we could each pick one. I may have picked all three of them before my sisters could pick one. (Note the green one by my right shoulder)

Sigh…My Margret quickly made sure that my sisters each had one.

When Bessie was pretty much finished with hers she jumped up to ask My Margret to watch it for her.Belle on the other hand discovered that a cup holder can also be a Kong holder.

Who knew!

Bessie Pup

I’ve been working with our bouncy pup Bessie to help her redirect her energy. One of the things we’ve been working on is a sit stay while I’m setting her food bowl down. Tonight on the first try she not only sat and stayed but she didn’t nudge or twitch her nose at me to hurry me up. What’s more she waited calmly a extra few seconds after I set the bowl down before being released.

It may not seem like a big deal but for Bessie it was huge!

We’ll keep working on lengthening the time and continue with some other things as well but for tonight we’re going to take some time and celebrate this achievement.

I’m very proud of you sweet pup!

P.S You also made an awesome blanket on this very cold January night thanks for the cuddle.

Finally!

My Margret has been really really busy lately. At least that’s what she told me today while she was cleaning my room.

Even though it was long over due she did a great job. So I head bumped her hand lots of times to let her know how much I appreciated it.

Snow Fun

It’s snowing today. We were napping on our pup porch and My Margret came out and said “Girls! It’s snowing let’s go play!”

So we did!

We had a lot of fun!

My Margret, My Stuffie and Me

I love my stuffies and they are never too far from where I am. However we aren’t allowed to take our inside toys outside in our pup pen. Yesterday I was so excited to go out that I forgot to spit my pig stuffie out by the door on my way out to our pup porch.

This morning I wanted to bring my pig stuffie back in the house but it was really cold and dark outside. For some reason I was scared to go out and get it by myself so I went to My Margret and stared at her.

We have this thing that if I want something I stare at her then she hold up her hands and says show me. If I want to go out I run to the pup porch door. If I want a cuddle I stay close to her.

This morning after letting me out then in again several times My Margret went put on her coat and shoes, grabbed a flashlight and said let’s go get your stuffie. So we did!

I’m really glad My Margret understands me when I stare at her. Okay I wish she were faster at it but she’s getting there!
