Oh my gosh! We had an exciting day! Another one of My Margret and My Greg’s big people came last night to help them paint. He was really nice. He and My Greg  used this big climby thingy today.

My sisters and I were watching them from the kitchen. I barked a few times to let them know when the climby thing moved. You gotta keep track of those climby things you know!  My Greg thanked me for my help.

While that was going on My Margret was painting in our pup pen. I sure wish we could have been out there with  her. I bet we would have been a big help.

While we were hanging out in the kitchen we all decided to take a nap. It’s hard work keeping an eye on our painter people and climby things don’t you know!

My sister Bess loves, I mean loves stuffies. She usually has at least one and usually more in her mouth at any one time. 

Stuffies get dirty.

and have to be washed every once in awhile. Bess doesn’t like it when that happens at all! She was staring at the washer and dryer as if that would make them get done any faster. It didn’t.

Finally they were dry!
My Margret took the bin into the living room where it belongs. Truth be told we all like them. 

I mean who doesn’t like a stuffie especially one right from the dryer.

Guess what! Guess what! Guess what! We had company this weekend! One of the big people who belong to My Margret and My Greg came to help them paint the outside of their house. Well…until it started to rain anyway, then he went home. 

It was a lot of fun having him here. He thought we were really really smart and he petted us almost as much as we wanted him to.

My sisters seemed to think he should pet them too but I took care of that! I just nosed them out of the way so he would keep petting me.  But he made sure they got a lot of attention, he’s nice like that.

He was soooo much fun. I really hope he comes back soon.

I don’t like being brushed. I really really don’t like it.  This morning I wanted some My Margret time and although it took me two jumps to get all of me up on the chair with her I made it! Then that My Margret pulls out the brush and starts brushing me. If she wouldn’t have been calling me sweet pup and pretty girl I wouldn’t have stayed.

Then a little while later My Greg started to brush me.  He said nice things to me too so I let him brush me…for a little while.  This is how much of my fur came out.

My Margret keeps telling My Greg that Bess wants to be a big sister. He says that the three of us shed enough fur that we could make a fourth pup. My Margret doesn’t think it’s funny but I think he’s right!

After My Greg brushed me he then started to clean the fur off of the couch. Like a good supervisor I stayed there to make sure he got all if it. By the way he says the kind of gloves nurses and doctors use work great to pick up the fur.

After all of that My Margret quietly called me to the kitchen where she gave me lots and lots (well at least 5 ) treats for being such a good girl. Pretty soon my sisters came out and when they saw me getting treats they plopped right down in a sit in front of My Margret for some treats. They were asked what they had done to deserve a treat and they both wiggled a bit and said “Well, we’re cute” My Margret laughed and said “Yes, you are” and gave each of them a couple of treats.  So I came back to get my “just because I’m cute treat” because it’s only fair!

I sat on My Margret’s lap tonight and she brushed me. And as you can see I loved it!

My Margret and My Greg have been crazy busy and My Margret has had a pesky cold  so I told the others that we needed to give them some Pup and Kitty therapy. I did my part by coming up from my basement kingdom to give them some special forehead bumps and loves.

The pups entertained them by doing a skit called “What do you mean I have to share the new toys?” 

I know it makes My Margret and My Greg feel real happy when we look cute, so I told the others to ramp it up a bit. 

Finally we just took turns cuddling with them.

Mission accomplished! ~ this is Lucy “The I’m keeping my eye on things ” Kitty for the rest of the Pups and Kitties.

Ah…shhh don’t tell my sisters.

~ this is Bonnie “the two is better than one” Pup for the rest of the Pups and Kitties.

So some of My Margret and My Greg’s little people came to visit this weekend.  Because although we are doing better we sometimes still jump up on people when we are happy to see them we couldn’t be in the same room with the little people. But because it was very hot and because the little people wanted to see us My Margret fixed us up in the kitchen.

She brought in our beds and toys and put them right by where we eat. Why we could have had breakfast in bed if we wanted to!

At first we didn’t understand why the door was closed and we wanted to go in the other rooms really bad. Bess kept barking and Bonnie was whining a lot so my Margret opened the door.

We soon figured it out though.

My Greg petted us and showed the little people how to pet us. ​

​Then they played find it with us. We really liked that!​

​Later that day they played ball with us because My Margret said we had had enough treats although the little people and my sisters and I didn’t agree.

We had a lot of fun with the little people and hope they come back soon. Now about that breakfast in bed…

So My Margret and My Greg went to see the movie The Secret Life of Pets. They really liked it and it made them wonder what we’re up to when they aren’t home. 

Well they’re just going to have to wonder cuz we’re not talking. 

Oh and My Margret made petMOJI’s of me and my dog sisters just because.

Our toys and pillows are back! I don’t know where they went but I’m sure glad they are back. My sisters are glad too!
