Forbidden Basement Tornado Party

Tonight instead of a thunder party we had a forbidden basement tornado party. The pups and Linus were troopers as we spent a good portion of the evening in the basement.

When the tornado was getting closer we put their leashes on and I sat with them in their little fenced area we used when they were puppies. They were nervous but they just kind of hung out. Even laying down after awhile.   We were blessed as the tornado came very close and we have some clean up to do but the important things are ok.

They are all so worn out I almost hate to wake them up to go to bed.

Hide and Seek

I was so excited Mrs. Melodie came over to play with us!  I decided that it would be fun to play hide and seek with her. I had a really good hiding place too until my sisters tattled on me and told her where I was hiding. They’re no fun at all. *sigh*

Mrs. Melodie said I was a good girl because I ran right to her  when she called my name. That made me feel good and almost made up for my sisters messing up my game.

I hope Mrs. Melodie comes back to play with me soon. She’s fun, maybe I’ll let her hide first next time.

Me and the Bouncy One

I’ll deny it if you tell her but I kinda like playing with the Bouncy One my Margret calls Bess.

We play hide and seek
She likes to play tag with me and my favorite part is keeping just out of reach. Ha! It works every time!

The other day we discovered this new toy in the living room under the big box that talks. If you press the round thingy, bright  sparkles run and dance and you can try and catch them. All of a sudden they were gone and we looked all around the big box trying to find where they went. I don’t know why my Margret and my Greg just stood there laughing, humph the least they could have done was help us find them!

Who knows maybe the bright sparkles will come back tomorrow, in the meantime…here Bouncy, Bouncy, Bouncy wanna play tag?

Chillin on a Sunday Night

Tonight we’re all just hanging out chillin and cuddling.

My sister Bonnie loves snoozing with my MargretBelle wanted a turn too and she got one.Linus found his own cuddle spot. But now that it’s finally my turn I’m not budging!

All Is Right With My World

My Margret and My Greg are back from the weekend visiting with some of their big and little people.

My hot spot is a lot better so I don’t have to wear my cone anymore. My ear still needs medicine but it’s feeling better too.

Best of all I’m back home with my tennis ball. ~ This is Belle “all is right with my world” pup for the rest of the Pups and Kitties.

Belle

Last night Belle’s hot spot looked really good so we took the cone off to see how she would do. Um yeah this morning the hot spot was red again so back on went the cone much to Belle dismay.

Tonight I noticed that she kept trying to scratch her ear…yep right on the first guess she also has an ear infection. Luckily or maybe not we have medicine from her last ear infection. After putting it in her ear it seems to not be bothering her nearly as much as it was. Or maybe she is just in a cheese “as a reward for two kinds of medicine “induced daze.

Cone Of Royalty …Again

So Bonnie wanted me to say I was wearing what my Margret calls the cone of royalty in honor of Queen Elizabeth the 2nd’s 90th birthday.

Although we like the royal family and would like to get to know their corgis better, the truth is I have a hot spot on my back leg.

This morning  my Margret put antibiotic powder on it and my Greg put on the cone. The picture clearly shows how I feel about it. Although I do get to have after the medicine cheese so I guess it’s not all bad.

So it was like icky  and muddy out and my Margret and Greg needed to go run an errand. Usually like almost always we go out in our pup pen when they are gone but tonight my Greg said “Let’s let the pups stay in.” My Margret said ” In the HOUSE?” My Greg said ” Let’s just give it a try.” They did, and we did…..awesome if I say so myself!!”

Practice Makes Perfect

Now that I’ve found my tennis ball I’ve been working on my squeaking  technique…a lot.img_2707-1

I’m getting quite good if I say so myself. Although my sister Bonnie might not agree.
But I always say if you’re going to be any good you have to practice.

The Waker Upper Pup

You know I’ve learned a lot over the past few months.

I’ve learned that we don’t have middle of the night time parties unless it’s loud outside.

I’ve learned that weekends mean I let my Margret sleep later, at least until 6:00am.

I’ve learned that when my Margret throws the blanket over her head and says “It’s still night time Bess.” even though it’s light outside, I’m supposed to go back to sleep.

I’ve also learned that when the box thing by my Margret and my Greg’s pillows makes noise it’s time to get up!

So this morning when that box made it’s noise and my Margret threw the blanket over her head I did the only thing a waker upper pup can do, I pulled the blanket off of her head. It worked! I’ve never done that before and she started laughing and said “Bess, is it time to get up?”

So now I know how to get my Margret out of bed. Do you think that might work in the middle of the night too?
