So like it seems that things are different around here lately. My sister Belle is getting some extra attention and treats. I mean come on I can smell them on her breath. So what’s up with that I’d like to know.

So like I started watching a bit closer and every time she comes in the house she gets her paws wiped off, now I sure don’t know why I mean they aren’t muddy. But then I noticed she gets a treat afterwards. Ok to be honest The Bouncy One and I get a treat then too but if Belle gets to have her paws wiped off it must be something special so I want mine wiped off too.  I told My Greg that so now they wipe mine off too! 

And I heard something about a bath today…yay I love baths, I hope I get one too!

I’m feeling better! I’m perkier, roughhousing with my sisters, squeaking my tennis ball, wagging my tail, full of better!

 It feels so good to feel better I don’t even mind having my paws washed off every time I come in from outside but baths…well we’ll see about those. BUT in the meantime I feel better!!!!

We are in day two of trying to calm Belle’s allergies down. Which means messing with her ears and feet both of which she doesn’t like. 

This morning after I wiped her paws multiple times Belle came and stood in front of me. I knelt down and she leaned in and laid her head against my chest. I cuddled her for a bit then she moved away, laid down and invited me to rub her tummy. I did so then went to take a quick peek at her ear. She turned her head to give me a mighty stink eye that said ” I invited you to rub my tummy not mess with my ear.” 

So clearly she forgives me for being the bad guy as long as I don’t overstep the boundaries. Tummy rub time is not ear peeking time!  ~this is Belle’s My Margret for the Pups and Kitties

So My Greg took me to our vet today and I’m rocking a double ear infection. They talked about it and they think I have allergies that make my paws itch and my ears get yucky. 

I have to have drops in my ears twice a day for two weeks and I got a shot to help me stop feeling so itchy. PLUS I have to have my paws wiped off every time I come inside AND a bath once a week. 

Did I mention that I don’t like baths? OR my ears Or my paws messed with? 

My Margret said that I’ll get used to my spa treatments and might even start to like them. All I have to say is there had better be lots and lots and lots of treats involved.

This weekend I got to play with My Margret and My Greg’s littlest little person, Katie. She petted me and we played tag and hide and seek. Best of all I helped her practice her meows. 

After she went home I took a nap

This is my “I need something NOW” look that if not noticed is usually followed by a nose nudge.

Tonight was a Kong night.

We each have our own way to get the yummy peanut butter out of them.

Bonnie holds it with one paw.
Belle wrinkles up her nose while licking the peanut butter.

Bessie scoots it all over the floor.

And I just want to know where mine is!

My Margret took a look at my ears the other  day and saw that they looked yucky. She then decided to use the ear wash to wipe my ears out. I should have known something was up when my sisters went outside and My Margret picked up some fluffy white things,  a light thing, a bottle and said “where do you want to go Belle?” Well that was easy outside of course!  

When that didn’t work I strongly suggested she rub my tummy, she did,  but that didn’t make her forget what she was going to do with the bottle and white fluffy things.

So I jumped up in My Greg’s lap and he talked softly to me and petted me while My Margret wiped out my ears. When she was done she gave me my favorite  treat….cheese! Then are you ready for this? I ALSO got a bone treat when she gave one to my sisters after they came back in.  After a week of this my ears feel better. So even though I don’t like it I’m glad she wiped out my ears.

Today is May 3 and we have frost so I told My Margret we needed to share some warm fuzzies to warm us up.  Enjoy!

There I was taking a nap.

Two of my pup sisters were napping with me. However one of my pup sisters wasn’t napping. Can you guess which one?

The bouncy one decided I needed to be up from my nap so I could play with her.

I was really sleepy so she ramped up her efforts by barking in my ear. My Margret wasn’t fast enough to get a picture of me doing a back flip off of my comfy bed.

My brother kitty Linus was having some time this morning with My Margret. I wanted some time too.
My Margret and My Greg are always saying “Come on up there’s enough room!”
