Today was take your dog to work day. My Margret and My Greg didn’t get that memo so we helped them work at home while they were doing yard work.

We all took turns telling them what to do. They couldn’t have done it without us.

~this is Bonnie, Belle and Bess “the best yard work supervisors in the world” pups for the pups and kitties.

So this happened 5 minutes out of the condo.Then this happened.                                    ~this is Lucy ” the nothing’s going to stop me” Kitty for the rest of the pups and kitties.

P.S. I thought climbing up to the top of the buffet would take Lucy at least a few days to accomplish. Nope after opening her condo door she came up to me for a quick cuddle and started to explore. I left the room for a minute, came back and found her at the top of the buffet.                      Never underestimated the power of a determined kitty. ~ Lucy’s My Margret

My Greg took me to get my stitches out today.  I am officially stitch free with no restrictions!  Now it’s time for some rehab. The plan is that I’m going to be hanging out in my condo until I am able to jump up to my favorite high up places.

My Margret is going to put some chairs near them so it’s easier for me to jump up.  

My Greg is building a door to put at the entrance of the basement so I won’t be tempted to go back down to my basement kingdom. 

Then when the pups are outside and My Margret is home she’s going to open the door of my condo so I can get used to being out and about. But she’ll put me back in and shut the door when the pups are in the house or everyone is gone.            

After I can jump up easily to my high places the pups will start be in the house at the same time that I’m out of my condo. I heard My Margret say that we are going to take it real slow.  I like that. In the meantime I’d better rest up I’ve got a lot of work to do.

They’re Back! My Margret and My Greg went on vacation with their big and little people. They were gone for what seemed like a long time but I guess it was only for something called a long weekend.

While they were gone I helped Mrs. Wendy,  our watcher over person keep track of everyone. She said I did a good job.

My sister kitty Lucy really like her. She went right up to Mrs. Wendy to be loved on.     Considering Lucy is very shy around people she doesn’t know very well that was, well huge.

My sister pups acted very silly when My Margret and My Greg came home. Bonnie and Bess sat on My Greg so he wouldn’t leave again.

I on the other hand was dignified befitting my status as a helper watcher over. I waited until things quieted down before sitting on My Margret so she wouldn’t go anywhere.

Oh I almost forgot, Lucy Kitty gets her stitches out today. More on that later.

Hi All!

My Margret was really excited this morning when she saw me sitting  on the top floor of my throne. It’s the first time she has seen me sit up here. I’m not telling if I’ve done it before and I’ve sworn Linus to secrecy.

I have my appetite back and if my bowl is empty I make sure she knows all about it. For some reason that made her happy too. I don’t think I will ever figure my people out.

My dog sisters are cranky right now. My Margret gave them their Advantage and afterward they have to be separated for an hour or so so they don’t lick it off of each other.

Well Belle usually goes upstairs, Bess goes to the living room and dining room and Bonnie goes to the kitchen.                              So Belle decided she was fed up being a good girl and refused to go upstairs. She invited My Margret to rub her tummy not once but twice. Against her best judgement My Margret allowed Belle to stay in the living room. 

Bonnie went upstairs when she decided that she was going to try and do this.

This is the first time that one of my pup sister started to realize that they can get over the gate if they really want to. Luckily there is a door and much to Bonnie’s dismay My Margret shut it.

Bess is in the kitchen and is barking to let My Margret know she’s not happy. So My Margret is turning in it into no bark lessons.

My brother Linus isn’t letting it disturb his Sunday afternoon nap. I’m telling you he can sleep through anything!

Who’s ear infection free. That’s right,  this Pup is!!! My Greg took me to see our vet for a recheck  on my ears.  She said it wasn’t only gone it was totally gone!!!

To celebrate me and My Greg went to a park and went for a walk.  I had never been there before and there was a lot to see and smell. It was awesome! 

I heard My Greg tell My Margret that I was really good I didn’t pull on my leash and stayed beside him with only a few side trips to check things out. 

Guess what else…I heard him say that we were going to go back there and next time we might get some ice cream.

Hi Everyone!

I am sooo excited. As everyone knows I’m the looker outer in my family. I keep watch and check out noises and stuff to make sure everyone knows what’s going on. 

My Margret and My Greg just made my job a lot easier. There use to be child gates so we couldn’t go upstairs unless it was bedtime or out in the front room or up in the upstairs bathroom. Well a couple of weeks ago the gates came down and it’s so much fun, there are more windows to look out now and lots more to see!

So many in fact that I’ve been busy training  my sister pups and brother kitty Linus to help me look out them.                                 Oh! Are you ready for this?!  The windows are open, that’s right open so at night when we are sleeping I can hear things better and let everyone know about it! 

I’ve also been training My Greg to be a letter outer person. He’s getting really  good because I’m giving him LOTS of practice letting me out then in then out then in then out to our pup pen so I can keep a closer eye on things such as the bunny burglars and those pesky spy birds who are busy sending messages all day long!

It’s a fun job but I’m telling you it’s enough to wear a pup out!

Oh I almost forgot, my sister kitty Lucy is doing really well.  She has settled in and stretches out to take lots of naps. My sister Belle has figured out how to climb past the crates to sit on the window seat. My sister Bonnie almost got the blankie out of the crate till My Margret saw it and put it back. Linus lays on top of the crate to keep her company and I only bark at her when I come in from outside or when I wake up in the morning. Lucy doesn’t seem to care that I’m barking she just gives a little hiss and that’s all.   My Margret’s says we are all adjusting.

Things are going great. Lucy appears to be adjusting well to her new accommodations.  

We have been using “leave it”, ” find it”, body blocking and treat filled Kongs to help the pups learn how to act around a senior kitty.   Bess Pup is responding well and after an initial round of barking when she first enters the room to let us know that Lucy is there settles down and pretty much ignores her. Bonnie Pup checks her out every now and then but for the most part leaves her alone. And Belle ah sweet Belle Pup goes between checking on Lucy and wanting to join her in the crate. Belle has always loved her crate.

Lucy is enjoying ear scratches, gentle cuddles and carries on conversations with us as verbal kitties do.

I’m home! I’m glad to be home but I’m not too sure about the accommodations. I’m used to my basement home so this is going to take some getting used to.

My brother kitty Linus is keeping me company so I’m not lonesome.

I’m feeling pretty good. They sent me home with some pain meds to help me feel better. I’m getting around great and I’ve even been climbing up the side of my new apartment. So it’s pretty clear that being a three legged kitty isn’t going to slow me down very much.

My Margret told me how everyone has been praying and writing words of encouragement. I appreciate it more than you know. I may be small at 7lbs but I’m mighty at least that’s what everyone says.
